POLICY STATEMENT
Texas State University is committed to ensuring fair, transparent, and consistent practices in the sales and distribution of event tickets.
TICKET OFFICE
- The ticket office oversees all ticketing operations for the Department of Athletics including selling, reconciling, and managing all single game and season tickets. Tickets are also occasionally sold for special events coordinated through the Department of Athletics. More information on tickets prices and hours of operation can be found on the Athletics’ ticket office website.
ACCOUNTING AND RECONCILIATION
The ticket office operates in full compliance with National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and Sun Belt Conference (SBC) regulations. Revenue generated from ticket sales is verified through audit reports produced by the university’s computerized ticketing system. After reconciliation, all funds are promptly deposited with the university cashier’s office.
A pre-determined petty cash allotment is issued to the ticket office based on the athletic season. During the football season, this petty cash is counted and verified daily by the associate Athletic Director, Ticket Sales and Operation and the director of Ticket Operations. After the football season concludes, verification occurs on a weekly basis.
To ensure continued compliance and accuracy, internal audits are conducted annually.

Game Tickets
Game tickets may be purchased online, in-person, or over the phone with the ticket office. Tickets are non-refundable.
Use of tickets grants permission for Texas State University and the Department of Athletics to utilize the user’s name, image, and likeness in conjunction with the event for promotional purposes as needed without compensation or need for prior approval.
Digital Tickets – Tickets can be delivered electronically via email to the primary account holder. Access to tickets to enter venue will be done by downloading tickets to the account holder’s mobile wallet.

If tickets must be purchased by consignment, approval must be given by the executive senior associate Athletic Director, Business Operations and the associate Athletics Director, Ticket Sales and Operations.
